Pagkugi is proprietary commercial software. You may download, evaluate, and use it without restriction while you decide whether it is valuable to you.

If Pagkugi becomes part of your daily workflow, please consider purchasing a license. Your purchase funds continued maintenance, compatibility with future operating systems and mail standards, bug fixes, and thoughtful improvements.

Buy once, keep using it

A purchased license is perpetual. There are no subscriptions required to use Pagkugi.

A personal license permits installation on all computers owned or primarily used by the licensed user, regardless of operating system.

Three years of updates

Every license includes three years of updates. After that period ends, your existing license remains valid forever and your current version continues to work normally.

Upgrading is entirely optional. If future improvements are valuable to you, you may purchase an update license for another three years. Otherwise, continue using the version you already own.

Software should never stop working because an update period expired. Pagkugi does, however, depend on systems and standards outside our control: future operating-system changes, mail protocol changes, or new security requirements may eventually affect an older version.

Organizations

Businesses and organizations purchase one commercial license per user. Commercial licenses include the same rights as personal licenses together with appropriate invoicing and organizational ownership.

A commercial seat may be reassigned within the organization when the person using the software changes.

Your data

Your email belongs to you. Pagkugi stores mail in the standard Maildir format and requires no online account and no proprietary database.

You remain in control of your data and may access it at any time with other software that supports Maildir.

No accounts, no activation, no telemetry

There are no online accounts, no activation step, and no telemetry. A license is a file you keep; using Pagkugi never phones home.

Reliability and backups

Pagkugi is developed with care, with particular attention to standards compliance, conservative handling of user data, and long-term stability. No software is free of defects, so users remain responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of their email and other important data.

Warranty and liability

Pagkugi is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the author is not liable for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, Pagkugi, including loss or corruption of data, loss of email, interruption of business, or loss of profits.

Nothing in the license limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under the laws applicable to you.
